Earthenware made in Rustrel in the Pays d’Apt

A carefully worked earthenware

Turning then shaping the clay and turning again to finish the piece
Engober before the decoration, red, blue, green … The colors (long live the color) fly on my pots
The “sgraffito” comes afterwards, removing the material to make chips of earth and reveal the pattern
A first firing is done at 980 degrees then a second one with enamel (glass powder which is fired at high temperature and vitrifies)
All this is created in my workshop in Rustrel near the Luberon in Provence, with the “sun”
